COLDWATER SWIM ADVANCES ALL 10 SWIMMERS TO DISTRICTS

Coldwater Swim advances all 10 swimmers to Districts

Sectional Swimming Highlights
Teams & Advancements: 14 teams participated, and all 10 CAV swimmers advanced to the District meet.

Individual Achievements:

Kelly May: Won the 200-yard IM and is seeded in the top 5 for District Championships.
Keira Knapke: Finished in the top 5 in the 50-yard freestyle, advancing to districts.
Claire Bertke: Placed 2nd in both the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle events, she is seeded 3rd for the District Championship. The top 3 automatically qualify for State.
Quinn Brandon: Placed 2nd in the 100-yard breaststroke and 4th in the 100-yard freestyle, his times make him a state contender in both events.
Emmitt May: The highest-placing freshman in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing 4th.
Relay Team Achievements:

Freshmen Isabelle Schwieterman and Savannah Sutherin advanced to BGSU in the 200-yard medley relay, with Savannah starting and Isabelle anchoring.
All 5 relay teams finished in the top 5, with the girls 400-yard freestyle relay placing 2nd.

The Aqua Cavs now advance to the District Tournament at BGSU on Friday, Feb 20th. Girls will begin swimming at 10:00 a.m. with a chance to advance to State. Boys will begin at 4:30 for their chance to advance to State.

PARKING & SEATING INSTRUCTIONS at BGSU:
General Information • No restroom access is permitted within the SRC until 9:15 AM for the girls meet and 3:45 for the boys meet. • Chairs (including bleacher-back seats), coolers, glass bottles, and other large objects are not permitted within the facility. • Personal belongings in the bleacher area are to be stored on your lap or at your feet. • Saving seats is not permitted. • Spectators are required to remain within the designated spectating areas. • There is no ATM on-site. • Individuals wanting to use the facility for recreational purposes must purchase a Day Pass for each use. Parking • Pay by Phone permits are available in lots 10 & 18 (see Pay by Phone instructions on page 2) • Buses use Lot 13, located east of the Visitor Center, directly south of the football stadium. • There is no electric/plug-in access for buses on campus. • View BGSU’s online interactive map at bgsu.edu/map.
